5 Negative Effects of Coffee and the Alternative

“Coffee” is one of the world’s most popular drink in the world. According to a stat, around 200 million people start their day by drinking coffee.

But addiction to coffee can have very negative effect on your overall health. Well, there are some benefits of coffee but only when you are in control. If you still ignore this fact, then you may have a high risk of developing gallstones, kidney stones and even a serious problem as liver cirrhosis.

1.Bad for your Stomach

Most people drink coffee on an empty stomach. This stimulates the production of digestive juices such as Hydrochloric Acid. If these juices are produced more often whenever you drink coffee then it may fail to produce sufficient amount much when the right time comes(for a heavy meal).

The main cause of ulcers are the Helicobacter pylori bacteria. They can easily take hold of your stomach if it weakened by the ill effects of coffee.

Coffee relaxes your lower oesophagal sphincter. This may lead to a condition such as Acid Reflux and Heartburn. The muscle must remain close once you have eaten food to prevent the food from coming back.

If you are already suffering from heart problem then you should go for a walk each day with a weighted vest on. It will be highly beneficial for your heart.

Acrylamide is a cancer-causing substance which is formed when coffee beans are heated at a very high-temperature. The darker the bean more the chances of finding the substance.

Drinking coffee a lot releases stress hormones, cortisol, epinephrine. These chemicals increase your body’s heart rate, the overall blood pressure and can even increase tension levels.
